organization of elite people.” What they don’t realize is that there are other sororities that
are social and philanthropic organizations made up of people from all walks of life. Phi Tau Omega
is that type of sorority.
When I was asked by a friend to consider joining, I wasn’t sure I wanted to. I went to their rush parties
and still wasn’t sure. When I went to the final rush party, I realized that this was something I needed
in my life. That was over 40 years ago.
I can’t begin to list the things that I have received from my membership in Phi Tau Omega. I guess the
biggest thing would be all the people I have met who have become lifelong friends over the years.
People from other areas who share the love of this organization which brought us all together.
I feel so lucky to have had a friend who chose me as a prospective member.
